In Canada, piping is one of the most difficult things to register. Not because of the piping itself, but every provincial jurisdiction has its own set of rules.
For example, Quebec requires piping to be registered, but only at the time of installation. Nothing is submitted ahead of time for review and approval so it’s important that all the proper paperwork, calculations and component CRN’s are in place when the install begins.
Many provinces exempt specific categories of fittings, but not the same categories depending on the province, and the exemptions only apply to ASME standard fittings. Because of this it’s important to know what’s exempt in what province, and if the fittings you’re using are standard fittings.
We have facilitated the seamless importing of two major bottling systems from Italy into Canada for use, as well as registered piping ranging from a new piping branch in an existing system, all the way to piping in a large manufacturing plant.
